Perhaps if you let him meet any potential pets before they live there so he can get an idea of their size/temperment etc? That’s how my friend convinced their landlord :)

That’s actually a really great idea, I shall try of this. Thanks! If anything I think I’ll say that I’ll put a small deposit down or something. The landlord is a chill guy so hopefully that’ll help.
